The 11th Chinese Medicine Postgraduate Forum of Economics, Management and Law of “Siyao•Xieke® Cup” Closes Successfully

  The 11th Chinese Medicine Postgraduate Forum of Economics, Management and Law of “Siyao•Xieke® Cup” was held in Qianren Auditorium and Report Hall 111 of Economics & Arts Building in Jiangning Campus of China Pharmaceutical University on December 19, 2015. The theme of the forum is “Massive Health Industry--innovation, entrepreneurship and development”. Supported and concerned by all walks of life, the forum drew hundreds of distinguished guests from administrative agencies, universities and businesses. Our teachers and students also actively attended the forum with no vacancies available in Qianren Auditorium. At the opening ceremony, Zhang Fuzhen, vice secretary of Committee of Communist Party of China, China Pharmaceutical University, and Zhou Xiaoping, Chief Marketing Officer of Changzhou Siyao Pharmaceuticals Co.,Ltd, delivered congratulation message respectively.
  On the morning of the day, many experts made several academic reports in Qianren Auditorium. They include Huang Huabo, vice director of Social Security Center, Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security; Han Huixue, director of Administrative Office of Pharmaceutical Affairs Division, National Health and Family Planning Commission; Gordon Liu, professor of National School of Development at Peking University; Mao Junfeng, investigator of Medicine Division, Department of Consumer Goods Industry, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The topics consist of Chinese medical insurance payment system, new mechanism of drug centralized procurement, reform on supply side of Chinese economy, situation and opportunities facing Chinese pharmaceutical industry in the 13th five-year plan. The experts comprehensively interpreted frontiers and trends on medical insurance, drug centralized procurement, medical reform, situation of pharmaceutical industry, etc, greatly broadening academic horizons of the audience. 
  On the afternoon of the day, excellent postgraduate paper exchange was held in Report Hall 111 of Economics & Arts Building. Six authors presented their excellent papers in turn, and then six experts made their interval remarks respectively. The six authors are Li Saoqing, Yangyang, Liu Qiang, Li Xing, Zhuang Cunxiang, Hu Anqing. And the six experts include Director Fang Laiying, Deputy Director Ye Yaoyu, Dr. Wang Yong, Prof Chen Yongfa, Dr. Zheng Xiaonan, Dr. Chen Zaiyu.
  The forum was greatly supported and passionately participated by teachers and students of relevant universities both at home and abroad. About 200 papers were contributed by authors of 17 units including The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, University of Macau, The University of Sheffield of UK, Nankai University, Nanjing University, Hohai University, Central South University, Zhejiang University, Nanjing Medical University, Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine, Guangdong Pharmaceutical University, etc. Ninety-six papers come from the outside, showing great influence of the forum and research level of the authors as well.
  The forum served as not only a bridge for academic exchange between experts, teachers and students, but also a platform displaying thinking accomplishments for students. As an illuminating, friendship-promoting academic activity, the forum played an active role in broadening research horizons, enhancing research level, fostering innovative thinking for teachers and students.
