A plenary meeting of Professional Committee of Pharmacoeconomics Under Jiangsu Pharmaceutical Association was held successfully in conjunction with Workshop on Purchase of Medical Insurance Value and Rational Drug Use at Marriott Nanjing South Hotel on November 29, 2020. It was attended by about 100 leaders and experts from medical and pharmaceutical field nationwide. Its presider was Zhu Yubing, vice chairman of Professional Committee of Pharmacoeconomics Under Jiangsu Pharmaceutical Association.
An opening speech was delivered by Prof.Ma Aixia, chairwoman of Professional Committee of Pharmacoeconomics Under Jiangsu Pharmaceutical Association, dean of our school. And several leaders made speeches in turn.
Subsequently, a workshop was conducted on purchase of medical insurance value and rational drug use. It was co-presided over by Miao Liyang, vice chairwoman of the professional committee, vice director of The First Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University; Zhang Wei, director of Jiangsu Medical Insurance Association. An academic report titled “Toughts on Value of Clinical Comprehensive Evaluation of Drugs” was made by Prof. Zhao Kun, vice director of Center for Drug and Health Technology Assessment Under National Health Commission. Another academic report, with the theme of “Examples of Big Data-based Assessment on Drug Rationality”, was delivered by Dr. Tang Wenxi, director of Department of Public Administration, researcher of Center for Pharmacoeconomical Assessment of our school.
