An International Course Held for PhD Candidates


At the invitation of our school, Dr. Anke-Peggy Holtorf, a professor of The University of Basel, Switzerland and also a visiting professor of The University of Utah, USA, delivered an international public course titled International Health Policies and Pharmaceutical Market Access” at CPU from 16th through 19th, October, 2017. Dr. Anke-Peggy Holtorf is an expert in health policies and health economics with unique insights on health policies of Europe and the world at large. She also serves as a director of Health Outcomes Strategies LLC, Basel, Switzerland.  

The four-day course, offered with seven in-depth and specific topics in an interactive way, was attended by all PhD candidates of Grade 2017 as well as a number of master degree candidates and undergraduates of our school. During the lecture, Dr. Anke-Peggy Holtorf used well-documented and extensive evidence to integrate theory with practice, encouraging the audience to actively take part in class discussion. The course, under its very positive and energetic atmosphere, played a driving role in internationalizing our school.
