Phase One (1983-1987):

  Specialized Department of Pharmaceutical Business Executives

  1983

  Specialized Department of Pharmaceutical Business Executives was established in September, 1983.

  1983-1987

  Four batches of training had been held with a total enrollment of 131 from September, 1983 through September, 1987.

Phase Two (1987-1993):

  Department of Pharmaceutical Business Management

  1987

  (1) Preparatory group for establishment of the department was formed in April, 1987.

  (2) Undergraduate program of Business Management was set up.

  1988

  Department of Pharmaceutical Business Management was officially established in September, 1988 with an enrollment of 30.

  1990

  Twenty undergraduate students of Business Management were enrolled in the department in September, 1990.

  1992

  Thirty undergraduate students of Business Management were enrolled in the department in September, 1992.

Phase Three (1993-present):

  School of International Pharmaceutical Business (SIPB)

  1993

  (1)Undergraduate program of International Economy and Trade was set up in September, 1993.

  (2)School of International Pharmaceutical Business (SIPB) was officially established on basis of Department of Pharmaceutical Business Management in December, 1993. Mr. Zhu Shenghe served as the first dean of the school.

  1996

  Second bachelor program of Business Administration was set up.

  2002

  Undergraduate program of Marketing was set up.

  2003

  (1)Academic master program of Social and Administrative Pharmacy was set up in January, 2003.

  (2)Academic master program of Business Management was set up in September, 2003.

  (3)Doctoral program of Social and Administrative Pharmacy was set up in January, 2003.

  2004

  (1)Undergraduate program of Pharmaceutical Regulations was set up.

  (2)Undergraduate program of Economics was set up.

  2006

  Doctoral program of Pharmacoeconomics was set up in January, 2006.

  2010

  Professional program of Master of Pharmacy (oriented to administrative pharmacy) was set up in September,2010 .

  2014

  Professional program of Master of Public Administration (MPA) was set up in May, 2014.

  2015

  Degree Program for Master of Public Administration started to enroll students;

  2016

  Dual Degree of Business Administration Program started to enroll students;

  2017

  (1)International Economics and Trade Class for International Students opened to enroll 21 foreign students;

  (2)Professional Program for Masters in Administrative pharmacy (International Drug Registration) started to enroll students;

  (3)Departments of Economic Trade, Management, and Pharmaceutical Administration were established;

  2020

  Department of Public Administration was built up;

  2021

  Undergraduate Program for Health Service Management started to enroll students.
