Prof. Chang has been successfully listed in The Selected Experts in The Talent Pool of The Social Security of The Ministry of Finance, member of the expert group of the Medical Price and Bidding Guidance Center of the National Healthcare Security Administration (NHSA), member of the core expert group of the standard encoding of medical insurance information of NHSA, member of the expert group of DRGs and DIP payment methods of NHSA, and member of the drug policy expert database of the National Health Commission (NHC), Vice-Chairman of the Drug Policy Committee of China Health Economics Association.
In 2014, Prof. Chang was honored the 6th Xue Muqiao Price Research Prize, the highest award in price research in China. Still, he was selected as the 10 Most-Followed Experts in medical reform in 2018, and as Young and Mid-aged Academic Leader of “Qinglan Project” in Jiangsu province.
Main Research Interests: Drug price and procurement policy, Health Technology Assessment.
Main Research Achievements: He has successfully led more than 100 projects and published over 150 papers. Among them, over 12 projects of NHSA, 10 of NHC, 15 of the Price Association of China, and another 18 issued by other government agencies. Still, he has accomplished over 50 policy research reports with varied degrees of adoption for NHSA, NHC, the Medical Reform Office of the State Council, the National Development and Reform Commission, etc. Further, he has also received 12 thank-you letters and adoption certificates from the National Development and Reform Commission, the Medical Reform Office of the State Council, and NHC.
