This program aims at identifying, measuring, and comparing the cost of drug treatment (resource consumption) and the effectiveness of drug products and pharmaceutical services (clinical, economic, humanities output) in the health care system.

Senior professionals trained in this program are expected to systematically acquire the professional knowledge and basic theories of pharmacoeconomics with an in-depth understanding of the international trend and research frontier of the discipline. They are well-equipped to independently apply pharmacoeconomic evaluation technology to engage in scientific research in pharmacoeconomics with superior language proficiency, and to be competent for teaching, academic research and technical management in scientific research institutes, universities and pharmaceutical businesses.
